Ask Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini about your voice notes
You already ask an AI assistant for help every day. Connect it to InkSaid, and it can answer the question you actually have: what did they say?
What it looks like
Ask your assistant things like:
- What did Budi say about the shipment last week?
- Has anyone promised me a date this month?
- Summarise everything Sarah sent me about the contract.
- Draft a reply to Maya's last voice note.
The assistant searches your InkSaid archive, reads the notes that match, and answers, with the sender and the time of each note it used.
Claude, today
InkSaid connects to the Claude app on your Mac with one click, from inside InkSaid. The connection runs on your Mac and opens your archive read only. InkSaid itself sends nothing anywhere. When Claude answers you, the words of the notes it read are sent to Claude to write that answer, the same as if you pasted them in.
This is part of Pro, and in the founding build today.
ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok, next
These assistants live on the web, so they can only reach InkSaid through a secure connection you sign in to. We are building that next. When you use it, the notes your assistant reads travel to that AI company to answer you. InkSaid will say so plainly before you switch it on, and the Local only switch will turn it off.
How it works underneath
InkSaid uses the Model Context Protocol, the open standard that Claude, ChatGPT and others use to connect to apps. One connection works across them, so you are not locked into any one assistant.
What stays private
- Your audio never leaves your Mac.
- Your archive stays on your Mac.
- The assistant reads only the notes it needs to answer the question you asked.
- You can disconnect it at any time.
